For the IMX6 series of chip enable_wait_mode=off, I do not know what effect the wait_mode can have after it has been enabled. The corresponding instructions are not found in the manual.

Hello,

The Wait mode was concerned with the following bug in old Linux BSP releases:
"System will not boot up successfully on the pre-production chip such as the
TO1.1/TO1.0 chip."  Hardly customers use such pre-productions parts now.
NXP decided to drop the preproduction (TO1.1/TO1.0) chip support. Customers
should use the production chip.

Have a great day,
Yuri
