Hi community,
I have a question about i.MX6SDL SDMA.
Do you have a theoretical transfer rate when using each SDMA script in Table A-1 of IMX6SDLRM Rev.1?
Especially, I want to get the data of "ap_2_ap" (memory copy).
Actually, a lot of time is spent to memory copy with SDMA rather than I expected now.
So I want to compare to theoretical transfer rate.
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda
I am not aware of i.MX6 figures, but for other i.MX processors
typical SDMA transfer rate is about 40-60MB/s. Seesm it remains
the same for i.MX6.
Hi chipexpert,
Thank you for your reply.
Then, could you let me know what is "other i.MX processors"?
(e.g. i.MX51, i.MX53, etc...)
And does the typical transfer rate includes SDMA initialization? or not include it?
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda
Additionally, we feel it is strange you don't have a theoretical transfer rate for i.MX6.
Could you check little more?
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda
