Hi community,

I'm working on i.MX6 Quad sabre-SD platform and build my image for Android 6.0.

Since my hardware design has no PMIC on it, I do a lot of work on uboot and kernel driver.

So far my machine can start server now but I face a new problem now.

After my machine booting success and get into system, my machine will auto suspend and cannot wake up again.

Below is log for suspend.

Is that mean my machine get into suspend mode?

If it is how can I avoid it?

Why my machine cannot use debug port to send command after suspend and how can I wake it up?

Thanks in Advanced!

Hi tsung

one can try to narrow down problem disabling low power mode with

adding kernel boot parameter enable_wait_mode=off, use maximum operating frequency

with CPUFREQ driver described in Chapter 23 CPU Frequency Scaling (CPUFREQ) Driver

attached Linux Manual, try to disable the bus frequency driver, described in sect.24.1.2

Best regards
igor

I tried it when get into system.

But it still get into suspend mode.

And console still cannot work even I add no_console_suspend=1 on u-boot environment.

I tried to disabled the gpio_keys.c than get log like below.

PM: suspend entry 1970-01-01 00:00:34.956435337 UTC

PM: Syncing filesystems ... done.

PM: Wakeup pending, aborting suspend

PM: suspend of devices complete after 89.080 msecs
PM: suspend devices took 0.090 seconds
PM: late suspend of devices complete after 0.930 msecs
PM: noirq suspend of devices complete after 0.940 msecs
Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
CPU1: shutdown
CPU2: shutdown
CPU3: shutdown

Since I did not set any power key so cpu would not resume after suspend.

Still the same problem why system will get into suspend mode?

And how can I avoid it?

For kernel driver I disabled autosuspend, I think it shouldn't get into suspend by itself.

But it did!

How can I fix this issue?

Thanks in Advanced!
