You can see the schematic of the IMX8M Quad EVK Board, the default design is WM8524 in the board. You can see the schematic for the details. About the audio driver you can see files are under sound/soc in source code. The WM8960 are default design for i.MX6&i.MX7. Hope this can do help for you.
