DCDC_BATT and VDD4P2 connection

Hi,

We're using imx28 in 4V input only scenario and supplying power to DCDC_BATT and BATTERY pins. Since VDD5V is not used, 4P2LinReg is not used and I assume there's no use of the VDD4P2 pin. But why is there a diode connecting DCDC_BATT to VDD4P2?

I'd appreciate if you could briefly explain this.

Hi Semih

the purpose of the diode to guarantee the supply to the DCDC is not

interrupted when switching from battery to VDD4P2.
