Hi all,
I am verifying clock signal of the i.MX6DL.
My custom board is use the XTAL for main clock and RTC clock.
According to "MX_design_validation_Guide_V0.1.xlsx", there are written as test point that the XTALI pad is for main clock and the RTC_XTALO pad is for RTC clock.
Why these test point are different? (Main=input side, RTC=output side)
Best regards,
tomo

Hello,
Usually output (XTALO) is used to check clock waveforms.
The requirements regarding XTALI concerns with external oscillator using.
Please refer to Table 2-7. (Oscillator and clock recommendations) of "Hardware Development Guide for i.MX 6Quad, 6Dual, 6DualLite, 6Solo Families …”
