Can NVCC_PLL_OUT be used as a power supply of an external oscillator?

Dear All,

In i.MX6 Solo.

My customer uses a 24MHz external oscillator, and inputs and has the signal to XTALI.

And they will connect an oscillator output to a XTALI input pin.

In this case, can NVCC_PLL_OUT be used as a power supply for an oscillator?

Current needed for the oscillator is about 2.5mA~4.5mA.

Or should a power supply be prepared independently?

not, it can not be used.

From Table 2-6. Power and decouple recommendations p.20

"These LDOs should only be used to power the loads as

described in the reference manual or data sheet. Do not

connect any loads to these LDO outputs:"

I am afraid such schematic is not available.

Probably one can use NVCC_PLL_OUT as reference

voltage using external analog comparator.
