Can IMX6 fix the sample rate before output from I2S

Hi, 

My board use imx6solo, and the codec chipset is only support the 8K sample rate. so we hope to fix the sample rate before IMX6 output from I2S.

We tried gstreamer re-sample pipeline, and it works. But we hope to find a hardware way to support it.

Is that possible by any hardware module to fix the sample rate?

i.MX6Q has ASRC module for such purpose, so one can check ASRC driver description

in Linux Manual included in Linux 4.19.35_1.1.0 Documentation
