Build error in ltib with imx53-quickstart board

Hi all

I'm having the following error during build

Read error (Connection timed out) in headers.

Try linux-2.6.31-imx_10.10.00.bz2 from the GPP

http://bitshrine.org/gpp/linux-2.6.31-imx_10.10.00.bz2:

01:11:51 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Can't get: linux-2.6.31-imx_10.10.00.bz2 at ./ltib line 790.

I checked the given link and mentioned bz2 does not exists.

And idea why?

Hi Tugrul,

I have no idea where to get the patch as the kernel from the BSP is fullt functional.

However, to patch it you will have to change the .spec file.

Why not try the newer version of the kernel?

What BSP is this? Looks like very old version (10.10 indicates it's from October 2010, and kernel version only 2.6.31). Get a newer version from:

is there a possibility to patch the linux for imx53  with real time patch ?

Hi,

Check your /opt/freescale/pkgs directory and see if that kernel version exists.

For mine there isn't.

So in ltib just change the kernel version to the one you have.
