I have some uncertainties about connecting this PMIC and i.MX7D. In datasheet, diagrams on page 3-4. (link below),
First option seams OK because its the same in i.MX7D datasheet (screenshot attached)
Now question is what reference should I follow?

Both options are feasible depending on your application. You can see that NVC_GPIO1 can handle both voltage levels on table 9 of the i.MX7D datasheet (link below).

I’m not familiar with BD71815AGW but the voltage of NVCC_GPIO1 would depend on what your application needs and would be limited to what the PMIC can provide.
