BD71815AGW and i.MX7D?

Hello,

I have some uncertainties about connecting this PMIC and i.MX7D. In datasheet, diagrams on page 3-4. (link below),

  • NVCC_GPIO1 and VDD_LPSR input on i.MX7D share 1.8V VOLPSR rail from PMIC,
  • But on MCIMX7D-SABRE schematic NVCC_GPIO1 shares 3.3V with NVCC_GPIO2.


First option seams OK because its the same in i.MX7D datasheet (screenshot attached)

Now question is what reference should I follow?

Both options are feasible depending on your application. You can see that NVC_GPIO1 can handle both voltage levels on table 9 of the i.MX7D datasheet (link below).

I’m not familiar with BD71815AGW but the voltage of NVCC_GPIO1 would depend on what your application needs and would be limited to what the PMIC can provide.
