About IMX8M 604 Ohm Termination Resistors

Hi NXP Support Team, 

        I am designing a project using Variscite Dart-MX8M SOM based on NXP IMX8M. Variscite adds 604Ohm termination resistors for the HDMI part on the SOM development board. Additionally, I have seen these termination resistors in your evaluation kit schematics. Are these resistors a must? Is it a problem if we don't add them? I am waiting for your feedback? Thanks.

According to the Hardware Developer’s Guide, 604Ω resistors are needed for stable HDMI operation.
