Hi

We design our custom board based on MCIMX53-START-R & MCIMX53SMD. DRAM_SDCLK has a series  terminator (0ohm). What meaning does this have?  If not necessary, I want to remove the resistor for space of the board.

regurds,

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I understand their meaning.

Hi...

Totally agree with Yuri, those are access points and possibly resistor to compensate the signals due the pcb fabrication,so,  I do not recommend to remove them.

First - the resistors may serve as test points for probe to analyze waveforms.
Next - if real (SDCLK) signal on the board appears to be not very "good" - it will be possible
to improve situation by locating more suitable termination resistors.
So, it may be recommended to use them at least for prototype design.
