Hi

  1. What the latest Thread Spec version you are supporting now and will be supported in near future?
  2. Do you have any support in Thread Border Gateway with IPv4  or NAT64
  3. Can we run any stack for NAT64 in KW41Z or need to be in host CPU?

Thanks

Hi Sen,

1. The stack implements version 1.1.1 of the Thread Group core specification. The Thread stack has been certified by Thread Group. The are no plans to implement other Thread versions into the KW41Z platform, only maintenance.

2. Not within the KW41Z stack, that'd need to be taken cared of in the host processor. ie. k64+cr20a or external linux host

3. Just in the external host

Hi Sen,

1)See Kinetis MKW2xD and MCR20A Connectivity Software

2) No, we currently just support FSCI for host serial communication.

Thanks jcpacheco

1)  I don't see any NAT64 implementation there.

2) So, OTBR framework can't be used with KW41Z as border gateway.

Hi Sen,

Linux already supports NAT64 and IPv4 and you'd have the TAP tunnel in place.

You could also take a look into the K64+CR20A Thread topology as reference which I believe it also has nat64.

Thanks jcpacheco‌,

1) Where can I see the code for K64+CR20A Thread topology? I could not find any documentation.

2) Does NXP support OTBR - spinel protocol implementation? I see only FSCI interface in the SDK.

Thanks jcpacheco

2) Is there any reference code/example for NAT64 implementation of Thread in Linux host? If so, please point me out.
