MAC & PHY layer customization support for JN5188HN

Hi,

I want to customize MAC & PHY layer of IEEE 802.15.4 on JN5188HN wireless MCU, does JN5188HN support customization of MAC & PHY layer?

What length of flexibility does this device support for customization or change of MAC & PHY layer ?

That could help you with the requirements that you want.

Thank you for your response.

I have gone through the JN-AN-1242, what I observed is that it tells about various Test modes for the device. What I want to do is disable CSMA-CA & change code in the MAC to provide customized channel access

As per JN-AN-1242, can we make changes like Test modes for normal operation?

Yes, the example is for testing modes, but this example is the one that has more access to the low layers.
