Is there any way I can detect if a restart of JN516x was because of the NRESET pin being pulled or because the power was turned off and on again (and I don't mean a brownout reset.) ?
Could you please check the DataSheet of the JN5169 chapter 9? I believe that specially the section 9.4.4 Supply Voltage Monitor (SVM) will be helpful for you.
