Vybrid VBAT range

Could someone clarify if the minimum VBAT is actually only 3V? Vybrid's datasheet claims that "the target battery is a ~ 3V coin cell" whose voltage in fact may be < 3V.

A new Datasheet revision (underway) will have this value changed to 2.4V.
