OpenVG let's you do some stunning graphics, check out this article:

The great thing is you can do it in any platform and port it to different ones. This demo I did, I started using PC Emulation, then I moved to MPC5645S which has OpenVG. With Vybrid the effort to port it was minimum; it did not matter we had a different IP block.
Instructions to run this demo:
1. Make sure you are able to run the tiger demo, with MQX 4.0.2 EAR1, OpenVG 0.4.0. Details at: https://community.freescale.com/thread/306211
2. Unzip the file attached to this message into your folder: \vf600_ovg\tests
3. cd vf600_ovg\tests\DEMO4\build-autovf600-gnu-mqx-d\eclipse
4. make MQX_TWRVF65GS10_PATH=(your MQX 4.0.2 EAR1 path)
That will generate the elf file. Look at the link of the thread above if you want further instructions on how to run it from SD card.
