Is there documentation on the E5500/T1042 boot process?

I am going to replace U-Boot with my own bootloader. However, I can't seem to find much information on the boot process. The E5500 manual, in chapter 11, does provide a some stuff, but I was wondering if there's a document similar to the SMP Boot Process for Dual E500 Cores?

The processor power-on initialization sequence is complicated and there is no document containing detailed description of all steps.

Even if there is an intention to replace U-Boot with a proprietary boot loader, it is recommended to refer to the U-Boot sources included into the Linux SDK for a specific platform.
