LF Antenna Part Suggesion

Dear NXP,

We are working on TPMS RF Project. with NXP part NTM88H135ST.

 
In this project we are using B82450A1084C000 transponder coil for LF Communication.

1) can you please suggest us is this part suitable with NXP NTM88H135ST1 IC or not ?

2) if not then can you suggest any other alternative/suitable part for LF communication?

Hi Pranav,

We do not recommend this LF coil for proper operation of the LFR.

The sensitivity is too low (3.4mV/µT), leading to a too much reduced voltage at the input of the device.

On our reference design we use the B82450A7204A000 (7.2mH) with a much higher sensitivity (52mV/µT) at the penalty of an increased size (11.4mm vs 3.2mm).

Otherwise, I think a good trade-off could the B82450A1855E001 (18.52mH) with a sensitivity at 50mV/µT and a length of 7.8mm.
