anyone can point to me the right direction for getting the Linux BSP for SBC-S32V234? thanks!
Hi David,
You can now download latest NXP supported BSP from: http://www.nxp.com/webapp/swlicensing/sso/downloadSoftware.sp?catid=SW32XX-LINUXBSP01D
We also have latest Quick start Guide(QSG) created and uploaded at : www.nxp.com/sbc-s32v234. It mentions all steps to compile VSDK specific kernel modules and shared libraries with BSP. We have created script for that as well.
Please let me know if you find any difficulty going through steps mentioned in QSG.
Regards,
Kushal
hi, Kushal :
I followed the QSG, download the SW32V23-VSDK001-RTM-1.1.0 from here.
https://nxp.flexnetoperations.com/control/frse/download?element=9948567
there is no License Keys provided in the licenses key tab. see the attached img 1.
But when I install the VisionSDK_S32V2xx_RTM_1_1_0\apex-llvm\APU_Compiler_v1.0_b486.exe, it asks me for a license key. see the attached img 2.
how can I solve this problem?
Please use the link below:
https://www.nxp.com/webapp/swlicensing/sso/ downloadSoftware.sp?catid=NXP-APU-COMPILER
It comes in pre-install summery when you install VSDK.
Thanks,
Kushal
Hi Kushal,
Thanks so much for the updates - I will download and give it a try -
We have created an image (rootfs) and most of the prebuilt kernel
modules in S32 DS worked but one or two seemed failed - to me it seemed
is related the kernel device tree setting. Will work on it.
Regards,
David
We plan to have an updated Linux BSP for SBC-S32V234 ready in 1-2 weeks. We will post URL link here once it is available.
We also plan to update the Linux BSP again and integrate into S32 Design Studio IDE for Vision in late July’18.
thank you Phil for the heads up - We have downloaded the linux from Microsys account and are working on the u-boot/kernel and user apps. To speed up the process - I have some questions related to the libs/kernel modules:
Does any of the examples in S32V Design Studio for Vision require its own libs/kernel modules? If yes, how do you suggest the whole system should be created including kernel(modules)/libs/apps? I know there are pre-built libs I can install on the final rootfs or rebuild them if needed. Is there a script to build and install all required libs/modules/apps into a rootfs location(assume it is defined) or can you share your solution? thanks!
I download Automotive S32 Linux Kernel here.
https://source.codeaurora.org/external/autobsps32/linux/log/?h=nxp/master
but the Image compiled with this code and s32v234_defconfig can not successfully boot up.
if you hava any new infomation, please share to me..... THX very much
Hi Kushal,
Can we load the latest Microsys BSP supporting SBC-S32V234 to the S32V community link on CodeAurora?
I read Zhiwei’s email below to mean the current BSP is broken
but the Image compiled with this code and s32v234_defconfig can not successfully boot up.
Thanks,
Philip
