Hi.

I need certain value that is never the same with the other.

(I guess this value is called UID in general)

Common thing : 1. Both of them are 16 byte.

                          2. The value depends on chip.

what's difference?

And every s32k144 chip has their own distinct value on the world?

Thanks

Best Regards

Phillip

Hi,

The UID is loaded into IFR during manufacturing process and it is set for each device as identifier of the device and placed into our internal records about device. I am not able to say more.

Best regards,

Ladislav

Hi,

These two number are absolutely different and not connected each other.

UID stored in the identification register (laded from IFR during reset) is an unique number of the MCU and can be read from the register anytime as from any register.

UID in CSE is connected to the SHE Functional Specification and can be read only by GET_ID command.

Best regards,

Ladislav

Hi.

Thanks for reply.

Does NXP ensure that the 'uid' value written in the 'Unique Identification Register'

of every chip is different?

Please explain me detail

Thanks

Phillip
