Hello,
We are developing an automotive wireless charger unit with S32K116. Customer wants us to encrypt some of the messages that sent to body controller via CAN bus. One of the mentioned encryption protocols is called "secOS protection". We are aware that there is SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication) for CAN lines, but could not find any information on secOS protection.
Does NXP have any information on secOS protection? We just wanted to know if such thing exists before asking the customer if this is just a typo.
Thank you for your time and interest!

Furkan

Hi @FurkanSenol
SecOC is Autosar communication protocol.
Specification of Secure Onboard Communication Protocol (autosar.org)
It is not implemented in our MCAL/RTD drivers.
However, the S32K1 devices have the features for this - there's CSEc module which can generate AES-128 CMAC.

Lukas
