The Reference manual has some information about 'recovery mode' but it doesn't answer all my questions.

Is there some demo for doing initial SWDL via this recovery mode for S32K344?

What interface can be used for S32K344? flexCan or LIN/UART?

Is BAF and Recovery Mode the same?

Hello Daniel,

I've tried to find the information in the referenced location, but couldn't find it.
Can you refer me to a specific document?

I really need to confirm if there is a built in mechanism for flashing via CAN / LIN upon silicon delivery
Similarly to using 'force alternate boot' to initiate SWDL in 5744, though i understand that in S32K it's contingent on the lifecycle being in early stages.

Hi @bgren,

I think you meant BAM and FAB instead of BAF.

If so, there is no such functionality on the S32K3xx, it can be programmed via JTAG/SWD upon silicon delivery.

Hi @bgren,

Refer to S32 Safety Software Framework (SAF) and Safety Peripheral Drivers (SPD)
