Hello,

In my application I have realised the acquisition of a quadrature signal by following all the instructions in Application Note AN13884 and it works.

Now I wanted to acquire another quadrature signal but unlike the previous case and as described in the application note one of the two pins cannot be connected to the TRGMUX and therefore I cannot apply the chain TRGMUX -> LCU1 -> TRGMUX -> EMIOS1.
In particular, the pins I use are PTA20 and PTC27 and the pin in question is PTC27.
I wanted to know how to exploit this pin to apply the same logic described in the example.

No, In order to perform quadrature decoder functionality, eMIOS needs preprocessed signals by LCU on S32K324.

Hi Simone, 

In order to bring encoder phase signal to the LCU for preprocessing, a PIN with  TRGMUX_IN functionality is needed.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
I can't change the pin for allow this connection.
In any way, it is possible to perform quadrature decode using only the eMIOS without LCU?
