S32K144 watchdog

Hi Team,

I can see a watchdog timer inside the S32K144.

How it works, as per my understanding it will automatically resets the MCU if there is any issue. Are there any hardware configuration needs to take care of?

If we are using external watchdog any suggestion on this?

There are SDK and RTD WDOG examples:

SDK: wdog_interrupt_s32k144

RTD: Wdog_Ip_Example_S32K144

Since the WDOG is a part of the functional safety, refer to the S32K1xx Safety Manual (available in S32K1xx Secure Files).

It also discusses use of External WDOG in Section 4.1 Hardware requirements on system level
