From the S32K118 EVB I have found the below circuit.

For the S32K1XX series of MCU I found should use two pin to recognize the touch.

I am using the S32K118 MCU to develop a touch function but I want to use the touch film.

The touch film usually have a shield pin(signed), but from the circuit I do not know where this pin should be connected.

Could someone tell me which MCU(S32K1XX) pin should I connect to the shield(touch film) pin?

Hi,

You can use any of the GPIO pins, it is controlled with a logic signal through a voltage divider 470R + 470R, the shield is connected in the middle of the divider.

First of all, thank you for your reply!

I have another questions like blow :

 1. If I use other GPIO pins, what should I do with this pin? when I design the software, always keeping this pin to 5V or under what circumstances should I set it to 5V(or 0V)?

 2. Could this pin be connected to the position marked like below(by voltage dividing)?

Hello taiguo.han@bitron.com.cn,

Our touch-sense design, including SW demos, is currently available under DNA.

If you have an NDA, please create a ticket for more details about the design.

If you don't have it yet, you can ask for an NDA again via a ticket.

How to submit a new question for NXP Support

Thank you,

Regards,

Daniel
