Receive function not working in LPUART Demo (without SDK)

Hi, 

I am trying to run the example project S32K148_Project_LPUART (without SDK) on S32 Design Studio. However, it seems that I can receive transmitted characters from the EVB, but the EVB is not receiving characters; there seems to be an issue with the receive function defined in the project. 

I have attached a screenshot of my computer's terminal, the EVB does not echo the characters I send to it.

Would appreciate any help here as I have been stuck for a while.

Hi MURAS21,

I think the abcd that you see is send back from S32K148EVB(The PuTTY didn't display the keys that you input). Please change the setting of PuTTY(Force on Local echo and Local line editing)
