PWM GetDutyCycle gives inconsistent period readings on a constant duty PWM (S32K358, RTD4.0.0)

I am getting different period values when I use Emios_Icu_Ip_GetDutyCycleValues(). However, the active time stays consistent. How do I remove this inconsistency?

Please refer to the S32K344_Example_Emios_Icu_IPWM_measurement_DS34_RTD_100_v2

Or check the returned value of Emios_Icu_Ip_GetInputState before call Emios_Icu_Ip_GetDutyCycleValues.
