Hi,
I have a pair of S32K148EVB with a ADTJA1101-RMII. Do I need to power both of my boards from a 12V adapter to make the ADTJ1101-RMII work? I have both of my boards configured with their jumpers to power from 5V USB. However, it looks that the ADTJA1101-RMII requires the S32K148 board to be powered from 12V. At least this is what I understood from this thread: https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K/S32K148EVB-ADTJA1101-RMII/m-p/802218#M2742
Is this correct? Then, there is no way to make the ADTJA1101-RMII work with the 5V supply from the S32K148 board? In case I do need a 12V adapter, can someone please point out an adapter model (for US plug) that will work on my boards?
Thanks!
Jorge

Hi Jorge,
Please take a look at the S32K148 EVB schematic at link below
under Design Resources / Design Tools & Files / Printed Circuit Boards and Schematics
The Ethernet interface is powered from P3V3_SW
By default, P3V3_SW is generated from VBAT, J18.1-2
It can be changed to P5V0, J18.2-3
And P5V0 can be either from the 12V connector that powers the SBC or from the USB.
So, the Ethernet board can be used with just the USB, but the jumpers need to be reconfigured.

Daniel
