Hello @dazulong

Please look into your workspace directory and then the subfolder '.metadata'. Inside there should be a file named '.log'. If you can identify this file, please share it to this thread.

Best Regards,

Mike

Dear mike! I don't have this problem with my personal computer, only with encrypted company computers. I was hoping you could help.

Best Regards!

Hello, mike! No ".log "file found in ".metadata"    —_—

Could it be because my computer is working on encryption?

Hello,

From your image, it looks to me that your system is hiding the '.log' portion of the filename. I think probably the one file that appears to have no name is the .log file.

Hello @dazulong,

I looked into your log file. I see a lot of errors related to accessing the S32DS update site. I don't believe this should impact your ability to use the S32DS tools or in creating a project. However, it may be a message that is annoying. I'm not sure of the cause of the issue, but it could be due to some firewall on your network blocking access or some other internet connectivity issue. If it continues, it might impact your ability to install updates and new device support packages from the online update site. In this case, you can download the packages manually from our website and install them via the offline installation method.

As I indicated above, this should not impact your ability to create a project or use the tools. If you would like to disable the connection to the update site, which would stop this error message from appearing, please complete the following steps:

1) Help -> Install New Software

2) "Available Software Sites" (blue linked text)

3) Uncheck the box next to 'S32DesignStudio'. If you continue to get this error after disabling this site, then perhaps there are other sites that are causing the error which must be disabled as well.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hello mike, I have tried and this error still appears. I installed the software offline because online installation was useless. And I can't use the S32ds normally. Many tools can't be used.

Hello Feng,

Did you already install by the offline method? Is this reflected in the log file you shared?

If you used the offline install method after the log file was shared, then could you provide the updated version?

If the log you already shared was after completing the offline install method, please disable the update sites as instructed previously. Then, after this, please reproduce the errors and send an updated workspace log file. It may help to remove the unrelated errors (the errors due to issues accessing the update sites) so we could more clearly see the errors associated with your issue.

Also, could you provide the installation log file, it is possible something did not install correctly and there might be a clue there.

Hello @dazulong,

From the logs provided, we cannot determine the root cause. We are not able to reproduce the issue on our side and we have not had this issue reported before. We suspect, as you noted, that your encrypted system may be impacting our tools ability to function properly. We cannot guarantee S32 Design Studio will function correctly in such environment. We suggest that you consider using a non-encrypted environment when using S32 Design Studio.

Best Regards,

Mike
