Hi Zhend,

I believe I discovered the problem. You are using S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform v3.5 and you have somehow managed to install onto it the following:

RTD S32K3XX 2.0.1.202207071057 com.nxp.RTD.S32K3XX.root.2.0.1.feature.feature.group NXP Semiconductors, Inc.
RTD S32K3XX 2.0.1 2.0.1.202207071057 com.nxp.RTD.S32K3XX.2.0.1.feature.feature.group NXP Semiconductors, Inc.

These packages do not support S32DS 3.5, they were developed for and tested to S32DS 3.4 Update 3. They are not forward compatible.

If you wish to use this RTD package, then please install it onto the S32DS v3.4. I also highly recommend that you use the S32DS Extensions and Updates menu to install as it has built-in dependency checking and would have prevented this incorrect configuration.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hello,

This is not normal behavior. There is no setting to cause this. The comparison window should only appear when a comparison is performed, not from Update Code command.

Could you please share the file '{workspace_path}\.metadata\.log'? It should contain some clues regarding what is happening.

Best Regards,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your help!

I tried to re-install S32DS, but without success.

Here is the meta log.

Hi Zhend,

Thank you for sending this information. It is looking like it could be a configuration issue. I think perhaps you are missing some package or a package did not install properly. Could you please provide the following:

Help -> S32DS Extensions and Updates, then click 'Installation Details' (blue linked text in bottom of Overview Details panel. Please send the text that is provided in the Installation Details window.

Best Regards,

Mike
