P2020 x MPC8641D Power

Hello all,

I'm evaluating the processors P2020 and MPC8641D, for choosing one of them for a new project. I´ve noticed that P2020 power consuption is like one fifth of the MPC8641D consuption, at the same core frequency and same core voltage. Is this right? How could you achieve such a huge power decreasement?

They have different technolgy, MPC8641D is 90nm silicon-on-insulator(SOI), while P2020 is on 45 nm technology low-power platform.
