Timer help

As I have no prior experience with assembly code. Could anyone share how processor expert tool / c-code can be used for the timers.

Hello

From your request it’s not clear what kind of task are you interested in. Processor Expert provides several components that allow to use timers in various modes, for example TimerInt provides periodical interrupt, FreeCntr can be user for measuring times etc..  You can find descriptions and typical usage in on-line help of  individual components (see Cw menu: Help > Processor Expert > Embedded Components index).
There is also a simple tutorial for TimerInt component available using Help > Processor Expert > Processor Expert Help in the chapter Tutorials.
