Hi. I'm working using MC9S08DZ32 with processor expert(PE).
I make checksum for code crc in prm file as follow.
CHECKSUM
CHECKSUM_ENTRY
METHOD_CRC_CCITT
OF READ_ONLY 0x7C00 TO 0xFFFD
INTO READ_ONLY 0xFFFE SIZE 2
UNDEFINED 0xFF
END
END
But auto generated prm file removes above code.
How to protecting my checksum code?
One solution is freeze generate code but If I miss that when modify PE, code releases without code crc.
Please let me know awesome solution.
Thanks.

Hello,
You can use the Generate PRM file property in the CPU - Build Option tab. Open the Component Inspector of the CPU in your project, select the Build Options tab, set the value of the Generate PRM file to no. The PRM file will not be re-generated, i.e. you can modify it.
