MLC NAND Support for P1021 with SDK1.7 release

Hi,

Can anyone clarify me regarding the MLC nand driver support with the kernel 3.12 for P1021 released with SDK 1.7 QorIQ.

Hello shubha singh,

For P1021, FCM does not support MLC NAND as its ECC requirement, it works if software ECC used.

And as I remember Freescale SDK does not include software BCH ECC, I'll confirm further if this is the case for 1.7.
