Hello everbody,
i‘m currently building a kind of a monitoring device for a very old car (1974). Therefore i will use a MCU with some sensors to track some parameters of interest (like temperature, battery voltage, manifold intake pressure and so on...). My embedded system runs on 3.3V. I‘m aware of that in car systems, especially old cars like mine you have to deal with load dumps and so on so a simple buck converter would not make it here. Since i know that NXP is very specialized in automotive ICs i wanted to ask if there is any kind of product which makes my life easy and offers a complete solution to regulate safetly 12 V from the car battery to 3.3 V?
Can you help me please and give me a recommendation to dedicated product?
Thank you in advance and best regards
