I am starting a new design based on the p1010. I am going to try to follow the p1010 EVK as much as I can. The EVK contains an RGMII and SGMII PHY´s on the board. I was wondering if it was possible to interface the eTSEC on the p1010 processor to a RMII or MII for 100MB/s operation. I am trying to save some money by doing this. I know that I have no need for 1GB/s Ethernet in my design, and that´s why I am considering this? Is there anyone that has experience with this or comments regarding this?
