P1022 core voltage value.
In my design, I planning to use the 1200 mhz devise with 1000 mhz core Frequency.
from the Data Sheet (p1022EC) it's not clear what the recomanded core voltage and what the Absolute maximum ratings.
should I design for the 1.00 V or the 1.05 V?
could I damage the devise if working with 1.05 V ?
I understand that working with 1.00 V and 1200 mhz may not fit the specification, but how thw same devise have two value of Absolute maximum ratings is not clear. pls advise.
regeards.

Hi,

I run the "MH" devise at 1000 mhz in my design as starting point.

what the recomanded core voltage in this case?

Pls. advise.

As it is shown in the datasheet for 1067MHz or less, i.e. 1.0V +/- 0.05V

Have a great day,

There are P1022 different devices which have different maximal core frequency. So P1022 part number includes 2-symbol which show supported Core/CCB/DDR frequency (MHz)

EF=600/400/667

HF=800/400/667

LF=1067/533/667

MH=1200/480/800

Only the “MH” devices can operate at 1.05V. For the other P1022 devises 1.05V is absolute maximum ratings for the VDD and VDDC when functional operation is not guaranteed. So if you want to run “MH” devices at 1200 MHz you should apply 1.05V.
