Hello,
I have a number of TJA1040 ICs and am wondering if there is a way to determine the batch number and date from the printing on the IC. For instance, one of the chips has the following printing:
A1040/C
DMQ000
nD734
What does the lettering on the chip mean?
Thanks!
Hello Cameron,
I have just received an answer from the application engineer. Please see the description.
DESCRIPTION
The below device date code is actually 2017 week 34, the center line is traceability information and contains wafer and lot information.
A1040/C-(Part number)
DMQ000-(?)
nD734-(n=Bangkok D=Dark Green 7=year 2007 34=week in the year)
The below device marking looks similar to engineering sample coding or earlier silicon version. The /C version of the device was not available until 2014.
A1040/C-(Part number)
170000-(?)
D9821-(D=Dark Green 9=? 8=year 2008 21=week in the year)
Is it possible to get an image of the top of the device? With this, I can verify with this information
With Best Regards,
Jozef
