TDA8954J pin mode

I bought a quantity of IC TDA8954J  from a Chinese store on the basis that it is original parts. The amplifier  circuit did not work with me in any way, noting that I implemented the scheme professionally .... I drew my attention that the terminal 23 (the Mode pin) is in the case of shorts with the chassis in all the quantity that I bought it .... Are these shorts normal in the IC?

I purchased the IC from an electronics store in Shenzhen not from official distributor .
The shorts are located between the pin  23   in IC    and the ground pin , and in all parts, even those that have not been tested yet

I don't have samples in hand so can't test the Pin23 and GND,but they should not be shorted anyway.

For your issue ,can you confirm that your TDA8954 buy from official NXP distributors?

do you mean MODE pin short to which pin in your board?
