PTN5110 DBG_ACC and Dead Battery

Can and will the PTN5110 detect and active its DBG_ACC pin when coming from  a dead battery situation?

If I startup my unit by connecting it to a debug board in a dead battery scenario I want the PTN5110 to assert its DBG_ACC pin together with its EN_SNK1 pin.

Is this possible or can/will the pin only be activated with VDD present?

Hi Thomas,

If the debug accessory presents Rp/Rp on CC1/2 lines, and also provide VBus power into the board (in dead battery situation), then DBG_ACC pin will be asserted.

If the debug accessory presents Rd/Rd, but no VBus power, then your system/board will stay in dead battery condition, and nothing will work.
