MRFE6VP5300NR1 vs. MMRF1316NR1

Hello, I have a question concerning the RF transistor MMRF1316NR1.  My company currently uses the RF transistor MRFE6VP5300NR1 in one of our products which is in series production.  We have been notified that this RF transistor is end-of-life and is to be discontinued.  It has been found that the product specification datasheet for the RF transistor MMRF1316NR1 appears to be identical to that of the RF transistor MRFE6VP5300NR1.  Are these two RF transistors interchangeable?

Correct, they are pin-to-pin compatible and have the same characteristic value.

The direct replacement for MRFE6VP5300NR1 was MRF300AN but this is not pin to pin compatible.

Be aware that both replacements MRF300AN and MMRF1316NR1 are not recommended for new designs.
