Hi everyone
I am thinking about using a MC33975 in an automotive environment to detect external switches. It looks like this chip does exactly what I am looking for. I glanced at the datasheet an I could not fine anything about noise sensitvity or the rough automotive conditions.
Can you recommend using this chip to detect a switch which is connected to the chip via a long cable in a noisy environment? Can it handle high leakage currents (~20mA)?
Can the chip sink/source 2mA on all channels at the same time whichout getting too hot?
