Dear NXP,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the usage of the SC181M704 I2C to UART bridge board. I have followed the documentation provided, but I am facing difficulties in receiving a reply from the SC181M704 when sending messages to my sensor, which has an I2C ID of 0x28.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone from your team could guide us on how to properly utilize this chip on the UART to I2C click board. Any assistance or documentation you can provide to help us understand the correct configuration and communication process would be highly beneficial.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Mohan T

Dear NXP,

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am currently facing regarding the SC181M704.

After reconfiguring the clock frequency of the SC181M704 to 375KHz using the sequence 0x57 0x07 0x05 0x08 0x00 0x50, I am encountering a problem where the SC181M704 is no longer responding.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone from your team could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue. Any insights or suggestions to help restore the proper functionality of the SC181M704 would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Hi Mohan,

I would recommend you to take a look at the sample control sequences in the UM11664 (chapter 4.4) and this post where I have tried to explain it in detail.

Best regards,

Tomas
