Hi,

I can't understand, can I use all 20-bit of external address bus for external Data memory if I use in my design Mode 0(MA=0) and EX=0 for OMR register. I'd like to use internal Program flash memory and external Data memory about 256K.

Hi,

There shouldn't be a problem to use extended addresses in the internal boot, but you need to configure address lines A17-Axx yourself. They are configured as a GPIO after reset in this mode (MA=0). The best way is to use ProcessorExpert tool for configuration. The CPU bean provides settings of the external bus and PE can help you very well.
