With exponential growth in today's cloud data centers, the demand for data storage and security is exploding. Data deduplication combined with encryption is a requirement. This session will provide an overview of how NXP has developed an innovative solution using intelligent storage accelerators without having to throw expensive cores at it. The performance-per-watt and the total cost savings of this solution are formidable. This same approach has been taken in the next-generation Software Defined Storage (SDS) platform from NXP which not only solves the data dedupe and encryption problem but also the compression, RAID and traffic offload requirement of a complete scalable SDS solution.
