New entrepreneurs and innovators today can quickly prototype, thanks to the new Maker movement. This seemingly endless world of possibilities, however, hits a strong limitation when it comes to manufacturing a product in mass production, due to a missing step, or link, between making a proof of concept and manufacturing it. This speech, will show how SECO picked up on the gap between Makers and Industry, by fusing its embedded expertise with the newly acquired Maker Movement experience, through its community movement and board: UDOO.
