Feature Request for Kinetis: DMA for UARTs

It would be great, if DMA will be supported for UARTs. The use-case is to send and receive about 100 Bytes every 5 msec with 460 KBaud. Using ittya: is my current solution, but it decelerates the system noticeable.

PLS, could freescale add it into the feature request list for MQX 3.9 or 4.0?

Try the USB virtual comm port which will be able to go at the speed you require

@HJFPE Thanks for the hint. The use case is, however, inter processor communication inside an embedded device. SPI is not an option (because of reduced feature set of the other processor) as well as USB, too.
