Hi,
From the RM, it states that MPC577C is able to support 2 channel of CAN-FD. Please advice if it is complaint to ISO11898-1 2015, or which year is it complaint to?
Regards,
Marcus

Yes, sure it is 11898-1:2015. Apologizing for typo.
MPC5777C with maskset 2N45H has M-CAN module of “non-ISO CAN FD”.
MPC5777C with maskset 3N45H has M-CAN module of “ISO CAN FD”.
SPC5777CK2... (maskset 2N45H) “non-ISO CAN FD” - probably no longer on the market
SPC5777CK3... (maskset 3N45H) “ISO CAN FD”
The screenshot you have shared is all related to 3N45H.
MCUs with optional field you have NOT higlighted, I haven't found on our web. I think it rather means MCUs without M-CAN module.
MPC5777C devices of mask set 3N45H offers ISO Compliant CAN-FD.
The M_CAN performs communication according to ISO11898-1 (Bosch CAN specification 2.0 part A,B) and to Bosch CAN FD specification V1.0.
Hi David,
Thanks! But is it 2015 specification ? Customer needs this confirmation.
Regards,
Marcus
Yes, all products compliant to ISO standard 11898-2:2015 should be called “ISO CAN FD”. Products implementing Bosch’s original protocol should be named “non-ISO CAN FD”.
MPC5777C with maskset 2N45H has M-CAN module of “non-ISO CAN FD”.
MPC5777C with maskset 3N45H has M-CAN module of “ISO CAN FD”.
Thanks David !
I suppose you meant compliant to ISO standard 11898-1:2015.
From DS, the part selection will be those highlighted:
