External NMI Setup

Hello,

I am trying to trigger an machine check exception from an external signal connected to the NMI pin on the MPC5744. For some reason I am not entering the the machine check exception handler. Do you have the initialization steps for this kind of application and/or example code?

Hi, it is needed to setup wake-up unit for passing external NMI signal into to the core as machine check exception. See series of reference manual screenshots below:
